UN SDG1 : Poverty eradication Fund
The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, on top of decades of half measures to fully address systems of inequality, is staggering. The war against Ukraine - in addition to causing untold suffering and devastation - will only aggravate efforts to achieve this mission. The ongoing crisis, and its unfolding repercussions, are only a stark and violent reminder that we need more action now, everywhere. Nearly 100 million more people have been pushed into extreme poverty due to COVID-19, wiping away 6 years of progress. 45 million people are on the brink of starvation. Over 85 million are on the move, fleeing conflict, including nearly 13 million who have fled their homes from Ukraine. There was insufficient progress from world leaders in 2021, despite numerous opportunities at the G7, G20, and COP26 meetings. We have created this fund to improve opportunities for women and girls around the world, address the systemic barriers that keep people in poverty, and halt the climate crisis. Your donation will be addressing these issues by eliminating the barriers that have prevented us from ending extreme poverty and committing to financing levels that will allow for real sustainable progress. Every crisis, and every person living in poverty, deserves to receive our support and solidarity. SOLIDARIEDADE NA MOKILI is a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible. Preventing Childhood malaria death Fund
Did you know? Malaria is a disease found in hundreds of countries worldwide, and over 3 billion people are at risk. Preventing the childhood Malaria Death Project is an initiative to protect children, particularly those under five, from the devastating impact of malaria in the Democratic Republic of Congo. For these vulnerable children, their ongoing fight against malaria does not only have broader implications for their long-term development, and it is a matter of life or death. This project provides families with malaria prevention education, lifesaving medicines, and effective and scientifically proven vector control technologies such as insecticide-treated mosquito nets. The goal is to protect 200,000 fewer children. Five years against malaria-related deaths and disabilities through a combination of interventions: in addition to universal coverage net bed distributions, activities include training of community health workers. This training improves knowledge and practices for malaria prevention and treatment and partnerships with radio stations to disseminate messages on malaria prevention and control practices in DRC. We work to save lives, defeat poverty, an also provide tools for sustainable change to people most vulnerable to hunger, violence, and disease. Ukraine War Crisis Relief Fund

Ukraine War Crisis Relief Fund
On February 24, Russia deployed its military into two regions of eastern Ukraine held by pro-Russian separatists in an attack on Ukraine. War has been steadily waging over the last eight years leaving more than 850,000 people internally displaced and almost 3 million people in need of humanitarian aid. The escalation in conflict will have devastating consequences for the civilian population in Ukraine and humanitarian needs are expected to rise. Today’s Russian attack on Ukraine raises the specter of major civilian harm and massive displacement.War would further devastate Ukraine’s already weakened infrastructure. The country’s health system, reeling from COVID-19, is fragile, and its economy has declined drastically. Food and fuel shortages would be acute, public services rendered nonfunctioning. Widespread use of landmines and explosive ordinance could kill or maim thousands. We have created this fund to provide relief in the form of emergency supplies like food, water, and medicine in addition to longer-term recovery assistance to help residents recover and rebuild. SOLIDARIEDADE NA MOKILI, a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit organization; we work to save lives, defeat poverty, and provide tools for sustainable change to the people most vulnerable to hunger, violence, and disease. Children in Yemen are starving to die Fund

Children in Yemen are starving to die Fund
Yemen is one of the most food-insecure countries in the world. Long before the conflict began, child malnutrition was widespread. More than 85,000 children have died as a result of the famine as of 2018. The following month, a report by Save the Children estimated that 85,000 children under the age of five have died from starvation and malnutrition. Millions of children in Yemen are at risk of starvation amid the coronavirus pandemic, which is tipping the war-torn nation into further devastation, the United Nations warned, appealing for nearly $500m in urgent humanitarian assistance. Another 6,600 children under the age of five could also die from preventable causes, as the pandemic has weakened the country’s struggling healthcare system and disrupted services. This project gives money to pregnant women and women with children under the age of five, this money to buy food and teaches them about child nutrition. Investing in the future of Yemen’s children by addressing their education, health, and mental well-being needs offer the best chance of ensuring their recovery and the country’s long-term peace and stability. Every time we feed a child, we feed our future. Please join us by investing in the future we all share with a donation to our Yemen Children’s Relief Fund. Stand Up Against Racism and Injustice Fund
When Solidariedade Na Mokili team met to discuss the tragedy of injustice overtaking America, these were the words ( Love. Pain. Solidarity. Fear. Togetherness. Frustration. Disappointment. Anger. Betrayal. Trust. Despondency. Hope. Action ) we spoke and the scope of our emotions. But one thing was appallingly clear: George Floyd’s inexcusable death was a spark applied to a field that has burst into flame. And the words “I can’t breathe,” ignored by the Minneapolis police officers, have deep meaning to thousands upon thousands of Black people and their allies. We cannot stay silent in the face of racial injustice whether it is within our own communities or outside of them. No one should feel threatened or afraid because of the color of their skin, or who they are, or who they choose to be. We all have a responsibility to end discrimination and intolerance — and to seek justice, reconciliation, and healing. We stand with the family of George Floyd and the countless other families and communities who have suffered discrimination, hatred or racial violence. At Solidariedade Na Mokili, we believe that #BlackLivesMatter and we support the ongoing struggles in cities and towns across America to seek positive change and redress deep imbalances. Now, we the people, who have a legitimate claim to even greater and more righteous societal power — our voices and our votes — must not be afraid to use it either. Our actions, both individually and collectively, can make a difference, especially now. SOLIDARIEDADE NA MOKILI, a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible.
