Give Us the Floor

Give Us The Floor is a 501(c)3 organization. Its mission is to help 2SLGBTQIA+ teens ages 13-17 and young adults ages 18-24 deal with distress through unique, peer support groups and community discussion channels to provide constant contact and anonymity in a safe community, breaking the cycles of isolation and shame. Trained youth facilitate confidential, Supportive Group Chats and members help each other with common mental health and social issues such as depression, isolation, anxiety, body image, discrimination, bullying, relationships, and identity. Stigma and shame are removed when 2SLGBTQIA+ youth can feel safe to freely share the difficulties they go through with their peers. They feel better about themselves and are able to believe in themselves and in the future.

Stonewall Fund Incorporated

The Stonewall Fund is established to assist students who cannot or should not access assistance from their families due to discrimination or intolerance with respect to their sexual identity. Assistance may take the form of short-term loans, outright grants, or provision of services, to assist with food, housing, healthcare, transportation or other emergent needs.

LGBT YouthLine is a *2SLGBTQ+ youth-led organization that affirms and supports the experiences of youth (29 and under) across Ontario.

Qmunity Bc's Queer, Trans And Two Spirit Resource Centre Society

QMUNITY is a non-profit organization based in Vancouver, BC that works to improve queer, trans, and Two-Spirit lives. We provide a safer space for 2SLGBTQIA+ people and their allies to fully self-express while feeling welcome and included. Our building serves as a catalyst for community initiatives and collective strength.
