Stelvio for Life
This year, I’m once again stepping out of my comfort zone to take on the climb of the Stelvio Pass (an iconic mountain in Italy) during the Stelvio for Life charity event.
Why? Because cancer research has unfortunately not yet reached the summit.
Just like last year, I’m taking on this challenge, but with even more motivation, determination, and hope.
This journey started with my friend Pim and our close group of friends from Beegden. Pim has shown what true resilience looks like, and he will also be taking on the mountain again this year. His strength and determination make this challenge even more meaningful and inspiring for me.
For me personally, this challenge is even more demanding, as I live with type 1 diabetes. This means every step requires careful planning and perseverance. Still, I choose to do this, because almost everyone is affected by cancer, directly or indirectly, at some point in life. For friends, family, and everyone fighting this disease, I want to keep pushing forward and help contribute to groundbreaking cancer research.
With your support, we can truly make a difference. Every donation (big or small) brings us one step closer to the top, both literally and figuratively.
